Move a city idea toward a useful shortlist
Capture a city in Notion and let Notis search Headout for experiences that can make the idea easier to evaluate.
Trigger
New Page
Triggers when a new page is added to a Notion database.
Action
List Products V2
Tool to fetch products using Headout V2 API with filtering by city, collection, category, or subcategory. Use when you need to retrieve product listings for specific locations or categories with pagination support.
Why this helps
City ideas pile up when each one requires a fresh research session to see what is possible.
- Get a first pass at activities for each city idea.
- Make it easier to compare possible destinations while the idea is still fresh.
Setup
Build it in a few focused steps.
- 1Connect Notion and Headout to Notis once through the portal.
- 2Create an automation in the portal or ask Notis to create it conversationally.
- 3Write one plain-language instruction to search Headout for a short list of experiences based on a new city idea page.
- 4Select the Notion New Page trigger and choose a channel for run reports.
- 5Test by adding a page with a city you are considering.
Questions about this workflow
Can the shortlist reflect my interests?
Include your preferred interests in the page or describe them in the instruction so Notis can use them in its search.
Does this compare every experience in the city?
It searches for relevant listings and summarizes a useful selection; it is not a guarantee of an exhaustive catalog.

Supported Triggers and Actions
Notis builds workflows that link Notion to Headout. A trigger fires from one place; an action lands in another.
Notion triggers
Headout actions
Recurring trigger
Notis starts this workflow on a schedule, such as daily, weekly, or during business hours.
Get Product By ID
Tool to retrieve detailed product information by product ID. Use when you need comprehensive product details including pricing, images, location, variants, and availability.
Webhook trigger
Notis starts this workflow when an external tool or custom backend sends an HTTP request.
List Categories V2
Tool to fetch all available activity categories for a specific city using V2 API. Use when you need to list categories of activities available in a particular city location.
All Page Events
Triggers when any Notion page is created or updated across the workspace.
List Cities
Tool to list all active cities with pagination support. Use when you need to retrieve available cities from the Headout platform. Supports pagination through offset and limit parameters.
Comment Created
Triggers when a new comment is created in Notion. Optional `page_id` filter scopes to comments on a specific page. When omitted, fires for any new comment in the workspace the integration has access to. Requires the 'Read comments' capability on the Notion integration. If a connection was authorized before that capability was enabled, the user must re-authorize the connection for comment events to flow.
List Collections V2
Tool to fetch all collections for a specific city using V2 API with pagination support. Use when you need to browse collections available in a particular city, with optional language-specific content and pagination controls.
New Comment
Triggers when a new comment is added to a specified Notion block or page.
List Inventory by Variant
Tool to retrieve available inventory and pricing for a specific product variant. Use when you need to check availability and pricing details for booking.
Database Created
Triggers when a new Notion database (the container) is created. A database is the post-2025-09-03 container that holds one or more data sources. This trigger fires for the container's creation event (`database.created`), distinct from `NOTION_DATASOURCE_CREATED` which fires when a new data source is added to an existing database. Most customers calling Notion's `POST /v1/databases` (the legacy API) or creating a database via the Notion UI will see this event. Adding a new data source to an existing database fires `data_source.created` instead — use `NOTION_DATASOURCE_CREATED` for that. Notion's payload puts `entity.type: "block"` (the container is a `child_database` block in the content tree) and `entity.id` is the database id.
List Products By Category
Tool to list product listings filtered by category ID with pagination support. Use when you need to retrieve products for a specific category.
Data Source Created
Triggers when a new Notion data source is created. Fires workspace-wide. The payload's `data.parent` carries the data source's tree parent (typically the teamspace) for downstream filtering. A single template-based database creation can fire multiple `data_source.created` events at once — one per data source the template instantiates.
List Products V2
Tool to fetch products using Headout V2 API with filtering by city, collection, category, or subcategory. Use when you need to retrieve product listings for specific locations or categories with pagination support.
Data Source Schema Updated
Triggers when a Notion data source's schema is updated. Fires on column add / remove / rename. Payload includes `data.updated_properties: [{id, name, action}]` so consumers can discriminate the kind of change downstream. Optional `data_source_id` filter scopes to schema changes on a single data source. When omitted, fires for any schema change in the workspace the integration has access to. Note: adding a column also fires `page.properties_updated` once per existing row in the data source. Customers wanting a single structural-change signal should use this trigger.
List Subcategories V2
Tool to fetch all subcategories for a specific city using V2 API. Use when you need to list subcategories of activities available in a particular city location.
