Ways Notis can move work from Notion to Baserow

View example

Capture Baserow inventory when a Notion database launches

When a Notion database is created, have Notis retrieve the available Baserow databases so you can check the destination workspace before planning a sync.

View example

Review Baserow destinations when a Notion data source is added

A new Notion data source can represent a fresh workstream. Ask Notis to list Baserow databases and send a short destination review to your chosen channel.

View example

Recheck Baserow destinations after a Notion schema change

When a Notion data source schema changes, get the Baserow database inventory in a run report to support a quick review of downstream workspace options.

View example

Surface Baserow options when a Notion view is created

When a new Notion view is created, have Notis report the Baserow database inventory as a quick companion check for the workflow behind the view.

View example

List Baserow databases when a Notion page is created

A new Notion page can be a project kickoff or new operating note. Have Notis list Baserow databases so the available workspace destinations are easy to review.

View example

Show Baserow tables when a Notion database row arrives

When a Notion database gets a new page, list tables in a chosen Baserow database so you can assess whether a related workflow already has a home.

View example

Show Baserow tables after a Notion comment

A comment may flag a follow-up or question. Have Notis list tables in the relevant Baserow database so the next place to check is visible in the run report.

View example

Check Baserow tables for comments on a key Notion page

Scope a comment trigger to a specific Notion page and have Notis report Baserow tables for the related workstream, keeping the follow-up focused.

View example

Review Baserow tables after Notion page content changes

A page content edit can update decisions or instructions. Have Notis retrieve relevant Baserow tables and report a lightweight reminder to revisit downstream work.

Supported Triggers and Actions

Notis builds workflows that link Notion to Baserow. A trigger fires from one place; an action lands in another.

Notion triggers

Baserow actions

Recurring trigger

Notis starts this workflow on a schedule, such as daily, weekly, or during business hours.

TriggerScheduled

List Databases

This tool retrieves a list of all databases in a specified workspace. as a fundamental operation, it allows users to discover which databases are available in their baserow workspace. this operation is independent and requires only authentication in order to fetch essential metadata for subsequent operations.

ActionInstant

Webhook trigger

Notis starts this workflow when an external tool or custom backend sends an HTTP request.

TriggerInstant

List Tables in Database

This tool lists all tables within a specified baserow database. it allows users to retrieve information about all tables in a database by using the get /api/database/{database id}/tables/ endpoint. the expected output is an array of table objects containing details such as id, name, order, database id, type, and first row header.

ActionInstant

All Page Events

Triggers when any Notion page is created or updated across the workspace.

TriggerPolling

Comment Created

Triggers when a new comment is created in Notion. Optional `page_id` filter scopes to comments on a specific page. When omitted, fires for any new comment in the workspace the integration has access to. Requires the 'Read comments' capability on the Notion integration. If a connection was authorized before that capability was enabled, the user must re-authorize the connection for comment events to flow.

TriggerInstant

New Comment

Triggers when a new comment is added to a specified Notion block or page.

TriggerPolling

Database Created

Triggers when a new Notion database (the container) is created. A database is the post-2025-09-03 container that holds one or more data sources. This trigger fires for the container's creation event (`database.created`), distinct from `NOTION_DATASOURCE_CREATED` which fires when a new data source is added to an existing database. Most customers calling Notion's `POST /v1/databases` (the legacy API) or creating a database via the Notion UI will see this event. Adding a new data source to an existing database fires `data_source.created` instead — use `NOTION_DATASOURCE_CREATED` for that. Notion's payload puts `entity.type: "block"` (the container is a `child_database` block in the content tree) and `entity.id` is the database id.

TriggerInstant

Data Source Created

Triggers when a new Notion data source is created. Fires workspace-wide. The payload's `data.parent` carries the data source's tree parent (typically the teamspace) for downstream filtering. A single template-based database creation can fire multiple `data_source.created` events at once — one per data source the template instantiates.

TriggerInstant

Data Source Schema Updated

Triggers when a Notion data source's schema is updated. Fires on column add / remove / rename. Payload includes `data.updated_properties: [{id, name, action}]` so consumers can discriminate the kind of change downstream. Optional `data_source_id` filter scopes to schema changes on a single data source. When omitted, fires for any schema change in the workspace the integration has access to. Note: adding a column also fires `page.properties_updated` once per existing row in the data source. Customers wanting a single structural-change signal should use this trigger.

Trigger Types

Four ways to start an automation.

A trigger is the event that kicks a workflow off. Notis supports four kinds: an event in a connected app, an inbound webhook, a recurring schedule, and soon, your own database.

Integration triggers

Fire when something happens inside a connected app. New Notion page, Stripe charge, Linear issue: any of 1,000+ apps can start a workflow.

New Notion pageStripe chargeCalendar event

Webhook triggers

A unique URL per workflow. Anything that can send an HTTP POST can start an automation, including no-code tools that speak webhooks.

Recurring triggers

Cron-style schedules run a workflow on the clock. Daily standups, hourly syncs, business-hours-only digests: the workhorse of Notis.

Database triggers

Watch a row, query, or threshold in your own database and fire the moment the data changes. Row inserted, value crosses a limit, query starts matching.

Why AI automation

Classic automation breaks. AI adapts.

Same triggers and actions, smarter middle. AI handles the fuzziness that breaks traditional Zapier-style workflows the moment a field gets renamed.
